Euro Trip with RestEX

Take your European holiday early with a mid-week lunch wandering the continent from Greece to Denmark and everywhere in between.

Italy – Bottega

This little piece of Italy is located in the Bourke Hill precinct, a block often described as the ‘crown’ of Melbourne and home to some of the city’s most recognisable heritage buildings. The cozy dining room serves up modern Italian dishes that draws in a steady crowd of CBD diners. Handmade pasta, fresh seafood and simple, quality produce are the heroes here.

Greece - Elyros

Serving up fresh, produce-drive Cretan cuisine in Camberwell, restauranteur and hospitality legend Angie Giannakodakis is onto something. Service here is warm and professional. The dining room is bright, airy with the period features of the space elevated by simple colour palate and natural finishes in wood and marble.

Greece – Hellenic Republic Kew

Inspired by Greek heritage – and many lunches at George’s mum’s house - Hellenic Republic celebrates with the old-school Greek hospitality. Don’t expect to the leave the table until you’re full.

Spain - Bar Lourinha

Take a walk down to Spain - on Little Collins - and treat yourself to tapas, cheese and more at Bar Lourinha, where the Spanish flair meets the Melbourne streets. Service attentive and staff are incredibly knowledgeable (tip: ask them about their favourite wines, they won’t disappoint). The food is equally as good. Savoury, satisfying and surprising dishes appear on a miss matched collection of retro plates – you won’t want them to stop!

Denmark - Denmark House

Join the Nordic food revolution and rally at this small piece of Denmark in the middle of Melbourne. In an authentic and cosy Danish atmosphere, Denmark House has 20 different kinds of open sandwiches to take you on a culinary journey you won’t forget.
